I managed to get my twitter account recovered, I lost the password when I changed desktops. University has been consuming a lot of my free time but had been going well, I hope to build things over the break and catch up on DMs.

Its one of those days where I wonder if it is worth doing engineering still, having finished an 11 page assignment on vector calculus that took 8 hours…. I say it is, I love maths and science too much, but boy does it get pushed.

I got to do a laboratory practical, it was in Newton's rings. It's quite fun to learn physical optics and interference patterns, especially to then apply it physically.

I replaced the hot end of my Prusa mk3 as the old hot end had a faulty thermistor, I tried removing it but the grub screw was caked in layers of carbon and plastic from the years of printing. I went with a whole new block as it was long over due, and I am happy with that choice.
