#Onthisday in 1938 the Anglo-Irish Trade Agreement was signed, its principle goal was to end the economic war which had begun in 1933. It contained a 10 million pound payoff by the Irish government, the secession of the Treaty Ports to Ireland, and ended the 20% import tariff
