Flags are flying at half-mast across our fire stations today as we mark 10yrs since the death of our colleague Firefighter Stephen Hunt. Stephen lost his life while tackling a fire in Manchester on July 13, 2013. A decade on, he is still dearly missed by all who knew him❤️🚒

Firefighters are professionals, not cannon fodder. Our safety is not for sale to paper over cracks of a building safety crisis & let those responsible off the hook. Fire Bosses pushing this through need re think immediately, or they will be held to account.
