Our boys started the new chapter in the Rwanda Men's Handball National League, 1st Division over the weekend. On the fixtures, we were supposed to play 2 matches ( 2 Saturday and 2 Sunday) due to the absence of Gicumbi HT, we played three.

Today at Kimisagara Youth Center, our team hosted Gicumbi HT in the Rwanda Handball National League. Our boys did well in the first half but due to some technical mistakes we ended up losing the game. Final Score: Gorillas HC 28-35 Gicumbi HT

Today at the OASIS SPORTS CENTER a GHC wing, in Gasanze we celebrated the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace through small games organized with local community members. Children enjoyed different sessions through Handball, Mini-Football, Volleyball, Basketball,

Traditional and Modern Dance as well Dodgeball. Special thanks to @neverplayone,Team One and Rwanda Handball Federation for their valuable contribution on this day. We also take this opportunity to thank our members, community members,friends of Handball for their support.

After the successful completion of Multipurpose Playground at GS Mwendo in Bugesera District, a delegation from Gorillas Handball Club visited the school to access the status and the use of the new theater of Dreams at School. This project was fully funded by @NPAGermany.

On November 1st, 2025, GHC in collaboration with Team One and JMFA conducted one day workshop on development of grassroots sports in "Kirinda Presbytery" at IPK School. This workshop is one of the activities that will be carried out in the implementation of a joint project:

Entitled "Empowering Grassroots Sports and Handball Development in Kirinda". This workshop gathered 20 participants who are mainly the Teachers from IPK School, GS Kirinda, ES Kirinda, Gardienne de Kirinda, KIrinda Parents School and Kirinda Tailoring Technical School.

Our sincere appreciations goes to Alfa Alfa the Chairperson of GHC, Maria Schmidt a representative from ONE Team, Francine Musabeyezu the Coordinator of JMFA.

We also take this opportunity to recognize the crucial role played by Reverend Jacqueline UWIMBABAZI, the Moderator of Kirinda Presbytery and the workshop facilitators Mr. @Anaclet Bagirishya and Mrs. @Theophilla Iradukunda.
