If Locktober was steadily draining my brain as it is, today just decided to take a chunk from it

In Ireland we have a running unofficial acceptance that Lent pauses half-way through because of Paddy's Day. We're half-way through Locktober and I'm looking for a cultural upheaval so we can all have a no-strings-attached break for just one day.
