Like literally every aspect of parenting, there are a ton of factors which affect how difficult/easy homeschooling is. You can’t look at anyone else’s journey & think yours will look the same. Expect that, like parenting, it’s going to take a lot of work, but it’ll be worth it.

God convicted me on the amount of time I spend on apps that clutter my mind. My mental stamina/focus have gone downhill over the last decade as my time on these apps has increased. Wisdom/discernment/mental acuity will be crucial for survival in the next decade. Pulling WAY back.

One of the few things I really love about Twitter is how easy it makes it to separate the sheep from the wolves. The road is narrow, y’all, and a lot of you think you’re on it but you’re not. Your treatment of people here makes it so obvious to see.

My daughter is in cosmetology school. I was her first client. I stopped cutting my hair when she decided to enroll so her first cut on a human human being could be something big to help her get over her fear of working on actual people. I’m so incredibly proud of her! I love it!

Catholics, I encourage you to do a serious side-project trying to test the claim that the dogma of the bodily assumption of Mary was known to the early church. I mean, not even “universally known” but known by even 1/4 of Christians for the first 500 years. Even 5%.
