Good morning, #CrazyPLN! Robyn from SW Virginia where I teach English 7 & 8. I am currently driving through SC headed to my parents in FL!

A1: We are doing our normal SOL (Standards of Learning) tests and MAP testing to see where our Ss are at. #CrazyPLN

A2: my district is just asking Ss to do their best so we get a gauge of where we are. No retakes and don’t worry if you don’t do well. Knowing that takes a lot of the pressure off for everyone. #CrazyPLN

A3: we do SOL Olympics the two days before testing using minute to win it games. We will have to do A LOT of modifying this year, but it really helps the Ss relax before testing. #CrazyPLN

Yesterday was New Teacher Orientation. Thanks to Matt Dunbar scavenger hunt, I got to meet most of the new teachers in my building! They had to take a selfie with the exit sign in my classroom and figure out what my room was originally used for! #bfmssoar #fcpsva

Today was the first day back for the 2021-2022 school year! We had convocation and got to visit with everyone. Loved the message about being positive and being a positive influence for others! #Day1 #bfmsSOAR #fcpsva
