Update on the injured booted eagle which was found at sea a few weeks ago, it was ringed and released back into the wild from the Upper Rock Nature Reserve by the Raptor Unit. Here’s to the conservation efforts of all those involved and a successful journey ahead.

The GONHS Raptor unit get their first downed raptor of the season, a male booted eagle downed by gulls was rescued by the EPRU launch in the Bay of Gibraltar and taken to our local vet Mark Pizzaro, It will be looked after by the team and released once fully rehabilitated.
