It shortly established itself as one of the most renowned sound systems in the UK, promoting and supporting artists such as Aswad, Culture, Mad Professor, Horace Andy, Twinkle Brothers and playing with sound systems such as Aba Shanti-I, Jah Shaka, Jah Tubby’s, The Disciples.

The success gained as operator pushed Mark to go in the studio with his partner Dennis Rootical and record some of their most played tunes. Their unique style immediately shook the scene and took the duo to tour all over the UK and Europe.

A lot of the music we listen to today would not sound like it does, if it wasn’t for Iration. Iration Steppas was recently the subject of “In A Vanguard Style”, a documentary produced by Dubquake Records.
