Golden Sun The Lost Age and Dark Dawn both start with lengthy recaps of the previous games to bring new players up to speed. Would you like to see this style of recap return in a GS4? Maybe a voice actor narrating might work or the recap could be told through CGI cutscenes?

Question for you Golden Sun fans: Which protagonist from the GBA games is your favourite, Isaac or Felix?

The GS soundtrack is finally on the Nintendo music! I didn’t know until today that the theme I refer to as “Imil saved” in my head is actually called remote village, it’s used in Suhalla as well so title does make sense. Are you learning anything new from the soundtrack release?

Let’s just take a moment to appreciate the fact that Nintendo decided to use a screenshot of Ivan with 0HP to show off the Saturos boss fight. If Nintendo did trophies you just know “Defeat Saturos atop Mercury Lighthouse whilst not letting Ivan’s HP reach 0” would be one!

It’s Valentine’s Day. Ivan and Sheba were a couple I really wanted to be together, just because they are Jupiter adepts and I think they would be cute together. Maybe Sheba would use cyclone to blow her and Ivan to the Apojii Islands for a romantic trip?

How do you feel about the Dark Dawn cast 15 years on from its release? For me Matthew, Sveta, Amiti and Karis are top tier. Tyrell & Eoleo I rate in the middle. Rief I never had in my party as Amiti was the superior Mercury adept. Himi could have been cool but joined too late.

How Camelot could say that Dark Dawn is a stand alone game & a sequel wasn’t planned is beyond me. The DD ending sets a sequel up perfectly, if DD had sold better we would have a follow up for sure. What do you think GS fans, were you content with DD or left wanting more?

Piers is a kind hearted Lemurian that Felix and his party first meet when he is locked up in the Madra jail. Out of all the main Golden Sun party members there is a big build up to him joining. How many thought he would join shortly after you first meet him?

In the GS fandom Dark Dawn is often seen as a game that didn’t live up to its predecessors but I know there are people out there for whom this was their first GS game and who love it for that reason. DD fans share you love of this game by leaving a comment below.

When Isaac and his party set out from Lalivero on the lemurian ship where do you think they visit first? Maybe they went to the Apojii islands or Champa? I would be interested to see the groups movements and how close they were to crossing paths with Felix.

In a recent interview with CNN (quote comment below from IGN article) Doug Bowser stated Nintendo have a long list of IP that will come to Switch 2. Please let this include a new Golden Sun title! At this point I think GS fans are clinging onto any comment, however vague.

A wonderful piece of Golden Sun artwork from Rinkuu 🎐 I really like how there is one djinn in each corner & Jenna looks to be in an intense battle. The way Ivan is glancing at Sheba makes me think he has a crush on her but that might be because I always shipped them?

Fighting the Fusion Dragon felt even tougher as a kid. At the time I was thinking two boss battles in a row and I am only halfway through the game. How many of us were caught off guard on our first GS play through when the end credits ran shortly after the fight?

One of the “criticisms” of the GS games when they were reviewed was that the characters talked too much. But it’s an RPG that’s kind of the point isn’t it? Did the talking in GS ever bother you? I always enjoyed it myself as it made the characters more interesting & fleshed out.

Each lighthouse beacon been lit was a significant moment in the Golden Sun games. Every lighthouse was tense with an exciting boss fight and dramatic scenes at the beacon. Which was your favourite?

Nintendo of America put the difficulty level at 4 stars but any GS fan has heard this theme so many times during Isaac’s quest through Angara. Difficulty level is 0 for GS fans, let’s hope Nintendo giving GS some attention like this is a hint at something more to come…
