Elected officials from the various local governments in Wilmette will be meeting tomorrow, November 11 to discuss how our local governments can work together to best serve the community. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Mallinckrodt Community Center, 1041A Ridge Rd.

Trees also absorb stormwater, reduce air and noise pollution, provide shade (reducing energy costs), and more! If you live in Wilmette, we need you to attend the Village Board Land Use Committee meeting on Tues (Nov 16) @ 7 p.m. to discuss strengthening Wilmette's tree ordinance.

If you're not able to attend the meeting on Tuesday, please email the Land Use Committee members to say you support a more robust tree ordinance. Please thank them for the time & energy they are putting into this important work that will not benefit us for years to come.
