Please don't send traffic blindly to someone else's page. Send them to your squeeze/landing/funnel page and redirect to your affiliate link after opt-in. I see this mistake far too often.

If you're sending traffic straight from your twitter page to a sales page, then you're missing out. Send them to an opt-in page, collect their email and redirect to the sales page. You can then follow-up with the prospects if they don't buy the first time around.

Stop sending traffic directly to affiliate links - even if you get that sale, they're gone forever. Collect their email and follow up with good quality content/information.
