💡 We've got what it takes - to create jobs, to create growth, and to create a more prosperous Scotland. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 What we need is the powers of independence to realise our full potential. 🤝 Together, let's build that better nation.

Enjoyed being out in the fresh air this afternoon with Sam and Cameron to support The SNP Paul Steele, Candidate for the West Fife and Coastal Villages Council By-election on 28th November. I won the ☀️for positive conversations!

In Scotland no cervical cancer cases have been detected in fully vaccinated women since the 2008 introduction of human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination. Public Health Minister Jenni Minto MSP encouraged those eligible to take up the vaccination offer. See - bit.ly/H_P_V

Labour’s betrayal of WASPI women is shameful. Ignores Ombudsman’s report on injustice and remedy. No compensation for the WASPI women as it’s too expensive. Second betrayal of pensioners since they got into govt. Labour MPs and MSPs should hang their heads in shame.

Politics is about choices. Whether it’s restoring winter heating support cut by UK Labour government, ending the two-child cap, or standing up for WASPI women, I’ve always chosen to do what’s right for Scotland. Neither Keir Starmer nor Anas Sarwar can say the same.

The suffering in #Gaza must come to an end. This is a crisis for humanity which must be resolved. Everything must be done to bring peace to avoid any more lives being lost.

📢 We’ve spent £1.2 BILLION over the last 14 years mitigating Westminster cuts. ❌ Broken Britain is holding Scotland back but with the full powers of an independent nation we can change Scotland’s course. 🤝 We will always fight for that future.

Brian Leishman you've made this a huge personal battle with your own party in London. When Grangemouth closes as a refinery, you will now have to resign and run a by-election. If you are an honourable man, that's the only thing you can do.

Today's events in Washington are a clear cause for deep concern, for shock, for anger. What we need now are cool heads and clear thinking. We must stand firm with our European allies in the steadfast defence of Ukraine. That is where Scotland stands.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇺🇦

Former Scottish Labour MSP Neil Findlay has resigned from the party. Wonder what Anas Sarwar will do to stand up against the savage Westminster Labour austerity cuts to the sick and disabled?

Today, UK Covid-19 Inquiry heard that the government instructed PPE suppliers to prioritise English NHS settings over Scotland. Just as shocking, the government withdrew embassy support from Scottish government officials negotiating PPE deals in foreign countries.

Wheely good news! The specialist BMX track at Langfaulds Park in Bearsden has had a fantastic upgrade ahead of the summer holidays. Resurfacing works on the track are now complete and the improvements will ensure many more years of bunny hopping, spinning and jumping 🚲
