This would be a great relief on a bad news day. Still don't rush him back, but it being a minor sprain would help Denver so much, not to mention Cam himself who was just starting to get in the swing of things. Hopefully with a fully healed arm he can find his normal shot too.

I appreciate that DA is experimenting every game with the rotations, but I would like him to do that more against the non-contenders then our actual rivals. Big Val has been very good here in the second

These are the minutes where I worry about Denver: they don't have a lot of practice in this two Center lineup, and having Jokic and Val trying to cover on the perimeter is not a strength. Missing Cam and CB shows up in the lack of familiarity

And unfortunately it's not just the centers. Denver keeps turning the ball over because these guys don't normally play together, and Watson and Strawther don't have time to ramp up, they need to be out here at full speed and so far they're not.

Tremendous block by Watson. That part of his game never wavers, and it's good to see the effort on the boards from him on both ends.

Denver's doing fine after a half, but they're losing the close moments and the execution battle. Minnesota is always a tough fight, which means the Nuggets can't afford to beat themselves with a poorly executed plan or silly mistakes. And let Jokic touch the ball more please.

The Nuggets hopefully made all of their errors in the third quarter they're going to make, because they need to finish strong and not have a repeat of the first quarter.

It's honestly great to see how into it Minnesota fans are in the third quarter of a basically tied game in mid-November. Players and fans are both ramped up for this one - there aren't a lot of rivalry games anymore so it's fun to see the Wolves and Nuggets take it seriously.

I am once again asking the Nuggets to close this quarter after doing really good work so far. The first three quarters were just practice, the fourth time is the charm right?

Wolves couldn't bully the Nuggets tonight. And their aggressive on ball pressure wore themselves out more than it wore Denver out. HUGE win for the Nuggets.

The Nuggets grinding out this win is excellent to see. They slowed things down in the 4th quarter, stopped making so many rushed mistakes, and were able to wear down the Wolves. This is how they acted down the stretch in many wins in the championship season. Good to see it again.

The 2025-26 Denver Nuggets are the fifth team in NBA history to have 9+ of their first 12 games be double-digit wins. They join: 2024-25 Thunder (won Finals) 1996-97 Bulls (won Finals) 1984-85 Celtics (lost Finals) 1962-63 Celtics (won Finals)

This. Jamal was not efficient in the first half, but he was determined. Him having the legs to continue to attack the paint, to work off of pick-and-rolls, even provide some defense on Ant... Really crucial to the plan tonight that kept Joker fresh for the finishing stretch.

Welcome to Denver, Cam Johnson - we should have strained your bicep weeks ago. He was the second guy to catch the right energy in this game after AG's first quarter, and he's making all those threes he was missing earlier in the year.

Luckily for Denver, it did not hold. Jokic being one assist from a triple double at halftime after Denver started this game asleep and underwater is hilarious.

The Nuggets have had a great start to the season, but it is concerning that every team that has hung with them has beat them. If you can withstand the offense, Denver is not closing games the right way. The Nuggets are going to have to work on that early-seasom artifact.
