It’s finally happened. I’ve reached that point in my celiac life when I no longer miss gluten. At all.

First cake I baked in 2021. It’s a gluten-free egg-free cake that turned out pretty amazing.

True, unlike veganism, celiac disease is NOT a choice but a disease that has no cure and a gluten-free diet is a medical necessity. For those of us who do have celiac disease, we’ll take the real meat burgers any day as long as they’re free from any traces of gluten.

Please take 3 minutes to watch this. Celiac disease isn’t just an upset stomach or diarrhea. Some don’t have those symptoms. If more of us understand the implications of celiac disease, it will be a big step forward.

Just a reminder that the gluten-free diet is NOT a diet trend but a medical necessity for those of us with celiac disease. Living with celiac disease in India is hard enough as it is. Please stop calling it a trend. FYI - I’d totally eat Kada Prasad if I could. #NoCureNoChoice
