Shoddy builds start at the very top of developer organisations. Their desire for fat cat pay cheques, fancy holidays and flash cars is insatiable. Their collective greed gives rise to value engineering. Governments look the other way.

Very pleased to see this issue raised by Gideon Amos OBE MP although the response is indeed underwhelming. Shoddy new builds are causing misery & financial hardship. We need much tighter monitoring & enforcement against slapdash builders.
