Join Glencoe Public Safety for "Cop on a Rooftop" at Dunkin' Donuts tomorrow, May 19! Public Safety Officers will be at the Dunkin' Donuts at 81 Green Bay Road in Glencoe from 7 a.m.-12 p.m. to raise money for the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) benefiting Special Olympics!

Today an incident occurred in front of Central School involving a stolen vehicle. Out of caution, Central was placed on temporary lockdown. Public Safety responded and apprehended the suspects. There is no threat to schools or the surrounding area. All normal activity has resumed

The north end of Northwest Metra Commuter Lot will be closed Monday, June 12 from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. due to Public Safety Department fire training. Parking will still be available on the south end of the parking lot as well as the alternative Metra commuter lots.

Glencoe Public Safety will use drones at the upcoming July 3 and July 4 special events to proactively monitor participant safety. In addition, Public Safety will have increased visibility, surveillance, and patrol before, during and after all events.

⭐Fourth of July Parade in Downtown Glencoe | July 4 at 1 p.m. The Parade steps off at 1 p.m. on its usual route beginning at the intersection of South/Hawthorn, heading east on South, north on Vernon, east on Park, south on Village Court, ending at Hazel Ave.

Today, July 20, Glencoe Public Safety Department will be hosting MABAS dive drills at Glencoe Beach from 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. Ongoing training are an integral part of preparing for potential emergencies. Curious community members are welcome to stop by and watch from a distance.
