This Week in Climate & Environment. From the Belem fire outbreak that disrupted COP30 activities, to the draft COP30 deal missing any transitional agreement on fossil fuels, the global climate space has been buzzing.

At COP30, VP Kashim Shettima unveiled Nigeria’s Climate Agenda, urging world leaders to turn climate pledges into measurable action, in his speech he mentioned a National Carbon Credit framework as part of the plan.
