Timothy Troutner Somebody needs to look into Catholic Quentin Meillassoux. He says the divine doesn't properly exist but that it's inexistence, in a field of absolute contingency (existence), guarantees the advent of the resurrection of the dead, or something like that, it's been a while

It’s possible to think about love through Meillassoux’s notion of divine inexistence, which is itself a continental reframing of the grue paradox. You should believe in love not because it exists, but because it does not (yet) exist.

I just realized, the controversy over how to pronounce ‘gif’ hinges on whether you implicitly treat it as coming from a German root (hard g) or Latin root (soft g). I wonder if that shows up in any other synthetic words.
