I have the most amazing co-residents. My car wouldn’t start yesterday morning so my co-resident picked me up (with coffee in hand!!!!!) and drove me to work. My program is the most amazing family I could’ve ever imagined. Grateful to be here.

Finally acknowledged that I am, in fact, one of the black clouds in my program/ED. Been trying to deny it for quite some time but there was no denying it today. My goodness, what a shift.

My last shift: a-fib w/ RVR in the setting of alcohol withdrawal, two intubations, a central line, a vas cath, a chest tube, one trauma resuscitation and a code blue. ⛈️⛈️⛈️
