A delightful story about a 118 yr old French Catholic nun who enjoys 1 glass of wine a day. No wonder I feel so good as I turn 50 this yr. My next 68 yrs are going to great. Bless you, Sister Andre! Always a 4 oz pour though right, California Wines thedrinksbusiness.com/2022/04/the-ol…

Bravo Esther Mobley & Jess Lander.Great clarity on winemaking & winery operational costs/pandemic dynamics.Costs can be high but there R great affordable options in Napa. Vacationing is expensive everywhere these days but wine destinations can work 4 most budgets.California Wines

Great news for the 28 wineries & vineyards and hard working people making beautiful European style pinots & chardonnays in the West Sonoma Coast. Their distinct wines and unique landscape deserve their own AVA designation among the state’s many beautiful AVA’s. California Wines

This man hired me in 1996. He became a friend while he was a mentor & boss over 26 yrs … and ultimately he was a true gentleman. He is quite literally the facilitator of my career & the kindest of hearts that showed me that a smile and warmth is a great place to start every day

Pinehurst courses #2, #4 and #5(and Cradle 9-hole) were deeply special for this year’s King’s Cup. Blessed for trips like these. As our poet laureate Jesse Garcia said: “And numbers on paper are fleeting, But a shared path and memories of fellowship endure.”

Kiawah Island Ocean & Osprey courses were majestic and quite challenging (& gators!). Thank you to my lovely wife for taking me to one of the premier golf locations in the country. The Sanctuary Resort on Kiawah is beyond special.

A great twist on the lemony French 75. Mixed with CA made vermouth instead of gin. We put delicious Quady Winery vermouth (w/ its 17 different herbs) and Korbel1882 California Champagne in this one.
