My young adult kids do not believe this about themselves. I’m going to pray this over them every single day until they believe it.

When we’re feeling anxious, uneasy or afraid... When we’re overwhelmed and overcome by fear… When we don’t know where to turn... ...We can remind ourselves that God promises us perfect peace in Him.

In seasons of joy… God is good. In seasons of sorrow… God is good. In seasons of waiting… God is good. In seasons of suffering… God is good.

Theologian Robert Jenson makes the simple & beautiful observation that when the people of God wandered in the wilderness for 40 years, God wandered with them. In grace God stays with us even when it would be easy to "walk off." God wanders with us. Such a comforting truth.

It is human nature to take the path of least resistance. You have to be taught and trained to go above and beyond.
