Also, last week, I was at an in-person London audition from 10am till 5pm... and after all the cuts & recalls..made it to the final 3 girlies... and well, that's a good enough feeling in itself🙏❤️ PrideInPerformance (PiP) 💙

I got lost driving home in London this evening because of a road closure I just couldn't find my way around. I luckily happened to be dialled in to my agency zoom meeting... And my wonderful agent Sam, stayed on zoom to direct my little self home🙌🤣 What a woman!! PrideInPerformance (PiP) 💙

HINT TO ACTORS SEEKING REP/SELF-TAPING: if an agent/CD offers you the chance to tape, don't just concentrate on the acting. Think about:- 1. Filename - if it saves as My Movie, how can anyone search it in their downloads? Make sure it has your full acting name. Cont'd... 1/4

2. Front camera - make life easier and use front camera so you can ensure excellent framing. 3. Framing - get that camera high up to eye level. A nostril shot is never flattering. 👃 4. Frame from the top down - make your first blade of hair the top of the frame. Cont'd 2/4

Cont'd... 4. By framing from top down, you eradicate the back wall from being the subject. Make it all about YOU! 😘 5. Eye lines - here's a thought, why don't you use the edge of your phone as an eye line? You can make an imaginary grid. Top row/middle row/bottom row. 👀 3/4

6. Edit - trim [no need to crop as you've already framed plus it messes with the aspect ratio] and listen to your lines versus the script. Have you said the script OR have you said your version of it? 7. Takes - offer TWO takes. No more; no less and an Ident, if asked. 4/4
