When season is over, take 1-2 wks off to let your body/mind rest. More isn’t better right now. Focus on spending time w/ family & friends, getting academics on point, extra sleep, eat well, work on flexibility & get with your athletic trainer & take care of any nagging injuries.

The pain of not achieving your goals will always be greater than any pain it takes to achieve our goals.

This off season, will you work on your game? Or just play in some games? There is a huge difference. Make a detailed plan, change habits, study film, develop your game. When next season gets here you better have put in purposeful work, because either way, it will definitely show!

One bad apple can spoil the bunch. Likewise, one toxic player can ruin a team’s culture. As a coach, you need to be very careful about recruiting troublesome players, no matter how talented they are.
