Adrian Houser makes his Giants spring debut today, and Luis Matos gets in the starting lineup today against the Brewers.

Parks Harber has been great since coming over in the deadline deal, but he hasn’t played above High-A yet. Maybe expecting him to make an impact with the Giants this season is a bit of a stretch?

Adrian Houser wraps his first outing as a Giant after two innings and 36 pitches, allowing three hits, one run and one walk. Gave up an early homer to Brice Turang but kept the velo around 96 MPH. Solid day. Carson Whisenhunt now on the bump.

Harrison Bader now tags a 3-run shot to left for his first deep ball in orange. 408 feet, and a scalding 113.6 MPH off the bat. The bat speed from Bader has been impressive thus far.

Monica Godfrey is the owner of Cactus Bowls. She was helping a customer outside of the truck when Bader homered, so she saw everyone ducking for cover.

Carson Whisenhunt issued four walks in fourth inning and a two run single before being relieved by Tristan Beck with no outs, and then Turang hit a grand slam, his second homer of the day. An 8-1 lead suddenly vanished and it’s now 8-8.
