We recently partnered with CareerSpring! This partnership will provide free career information, networking opportunities, and job placement services for our scholars, and we're excited to see how this helps our scholars explore and launch their future careers.

Nearly 42 percent of Black Parent PLUS borrowers — and 26 percent of Latino borrowers — in 2018 had a $0 EFC, per new analysis by The Century Foundation. bit.ly/3aaGSgl

We're so grateful to have been awarded a grant through the Darien Rotary Grant Program! This grant will cover the costs for our scholars from Hinsdale South HS and DGS to attend the OnSite College and Leadership Forum, hosted by Chicago Scholars!

Since June, our Class of 2027 has been meeting weekly to learn about the college admissions process. We've covered finding a good college fit, exploring careers, and our expectations for the year. Our newest cohort is amazing, we can't wait to see where this year takes them!

Thanks to @nurturingwisdom for hosting a pre-college workshop for our Class of '26. They covered things like study skills, building relationships with university staff, and mental health resources, and we know their tips and tricks will help our scholars succeed!

We are so proud of our newest alumni, many of whom moved onto their college campuses last week. Nana is ready to take on her first semester at University of Illinois!

Congratulations to Mai-Jeanna for receiving the QuestBridge National College Match scholarship! She will be attending University of Notre Dame next fall. She was one of 1,500 recipients from over 18,000 applicants, and our third QuestBridge scholar in three years. Go Irish! ☘️
