We can confirm that Wizard101 is being released on console, possibly quite soon! In today's patch, new tech was added that would allow them to identify which console a player is logging into the game with. They also added an internal test interface to "Use Console Account."

They are revealing the Krokotopian Trees and their "associated systems" in a stream this Friday. Players are none the wiser unless they keep up with dev messages on Discord. Where is the tweet announcing this? It's the biggest update *of the year* and it's radio silence.

BREAKING: It appears that all mainline Wizard City areas have been made free in this update, as they've been labeled "FreeToPlay" in the files. Note, this does NOT include Crab Alley, Colossus Blvd, or other misc areas that may include.

BAZAAR BEHAVIOR: Players are observing that sold items have a long cooldown before they can be repurchased, currently speculated to be 30 minutes. This has resulted in Bazaar bot domination, as players don't have the time or attention span to keep up. Bots do and instantly act.

The first patch of February happened earlier this morning despite no prior notice. The free Wizard City + Oasis has NOT yet been patched out, despite being presented as limited time through January 31st.
