Recently found out I had my 1st grandchild, I was never told this baby was born by my daughter or son in law. I sent this message to my son in law. He followed typical JW rhetoric. So sad I helped raise her in this destructive cult. Of course I got no further response. #JWcult

So when Jehovahs Witnesses have non believing family and they for god to bring the new paradise, they are literally praying for the death and murder by god of their non JW family. So they (JWs) can live forever, kinda selfish.

I have not been a JW for over 12 years. Not DF and never disassociated…. I’m getting Married in July and invited my JW parents and sister, my sister declined but parents are going to attend…. Did I make a mistake by inviting them? I will change nothing in ceremony/reception.

It’s Mother’s Day and I had a conversation with my never a JW fiancé. Her mom passed away a few years ago and she misses her mom every day and can never see her again. My mom is still alive and I miss her every day and I can never see her either.

So in 34 days. I’m getting married, to an incredible woman. She is Pentecostal. I invited my parents out of respect. Never thinking they would accept. To my total surprise they RSVP they are coming. I’m not sure what to think of this. They shun me and every other way.

I just spent two weeks with my very JW parents. There was no talk of Jehovah, just good times. I’m not sure what to think of it, But my wife and I definitely enjoyed the time spent with them. Isn’t it what we all want, a relationship with family???

For 10+ years my parents and daughter have shunned me. They are still very JW. Recently they have stopped shunning me and are talking to me. No JW talk just normal life events. They don’t want criticism and say they won’t bring up JW stuff. I’m confused not sure where to put it.
