한국에 있으면서 좋은 점 한 가지는, 중국 소설들의 한국어 번역서를 많이 읽을 수 있다는 것이다. 하지만 원문에는 있지도 않는 여성화자 경어체, 남성화자 평어체는 몰입을 방해한다.
