Really wonderful and reassuring day at the UHI Inverness Gender in Early Years conference today. So thankful to have been invited along to contribute to this important conversation. Inspiring words from Dr Shaddai Tembo have given much food for thought!

Someone at todays event asked “why aren’t we getting training on this stuff as staff groups or at in-service?” We agree! We wish we could do more!

This feels really relevant to some of the discussion we had yesterday about girls and construction!

Big congrats to our friend Dr Robyn Muir (she/her) on the publication of her book! We met with Robyn as we worked on our own book - her work is really inspiring!

Well done to all the nominees, particularly those north of the border! Sadly we couldn’t afford the fee to have our book considered for the book prize - probably just as well for the other nominees 😂😂😂
