I was lucky to meet Jamie Goode with UK Sommelier Assoc. at Lirac AOC Masterclass. Lirac AOC is a Crus of the Southern Rhône neighbouring Tavel AOC. Although their wines are known for tranquil reds (less extraction, limited O2 exposure) today whites are climbing into prominence.t

Came across this #Viorica (only from #moldova) and was amazed it had a completely different wine style 😎 profile! Most ,Viorica, is Frankinsense, Yellow plums and fabulously aromatic. This ❤ 😍 ❤ eg was sweet Limes /lychee like and fresh but understated. #wine

This #Saperavi at a tasting of 1,000 Moldovan #wine s clearly was the winner 🏆 👌 stunning 😍 velvet concentrated, refined Saperavi smoothness with perfectly integrated tannins and fruit. Awesome 👌 stuff..using old Soviet amphora
