We celebrate! On 23 May 1949 the Basic Law – the German 🇩🇪 Constitution – was promulgated in Western Germany 🇩🇪 . For 75 years, the Basic Law has secured freedom, peace and democracy in West Germany 🇩🇪 , and since reunification in 1990 also in East Germany 🇩🇪 .
