The key is to gather a lot of reference and not focus too hard on one of them to avoid straight copying but not using any ref is just nerfing yourself imo, the result is noticeably worse

found an artist so goated that looking at her arts got me demotivated but also motivated at the same time 😭 how can someone be that creative like omggg

i guess this is a sign for me to start doing plein air study too (been wanting to do it for a while anyway)
