Addressed the High Level Segment of the 52nd session of UN Human Rights Council. Spoke about the complicated environment in 🌎& focused on difficult human rights situation in 🇬🇪's occupied regions. Outlined 🇬🇪's priorities for HRC membership& accentuated severe humanitarian outcomes of war in🇺🇦.

On the sidelines of #HRC52, I had an opportunity to meet with Volker Türk, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. We exchanged views on 🇬🇪's fruitful cooperation with the UN institutions and discussed the difficult humanitarian situation in the occupied territories of 🇬🇪.

Met with Filippo Grandi, UN High Commissioner for Refugees. We highlighted the major projects that are carried out in our country through the organization's assistance& focused on the huge contribution the UN office is providing for amelioration of living conditions of IDPs in🇬🇪.

#HRC52 has just adopted a Resolution on #Russia-occupied 2 regions of #Georgia 🇬🇪 #UN Human Rights Council 🇺🇳 deplores human rights violations in both regions, refers to ECHR CEDH & Int'l Criminal Court decisions & calls for an access of int’l mechanisms to RUS occupied regs of 🇬🇪
