On Monday, GU Security Studies hosted “NATO at 75: Charting a New Course.” The day-long conference featured panels with North American European scholars and practitioners who discussed the history of NATO and its current role in geopolitics.

The conference began with a keynote address and fireside chat with Ambassador Julianne Smith Julianne Smith, who spoke to David Sanger about her time with the organization.

General Christopher G. Cavoli, Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR), closed out the conference with a keynote address and fireside chat with SSP’s Director of International and Alumni Affairs Sara Bjerg Moller (SSP’06).
