I was honoured to end my week with a young person who always has a smile on her face no matter what. It was so important to her to enjoy a few minutes on this ride which made her day, what she doesn't know is it made not just my day, but my week too. Thorpe Park trip pending!

Really enjoyed facilitating an interactive group supervision this week around 'The Path to Reunification' during our monthly Through Care, the goal is to get SWs thinking about how reunification pathways can be opened up and expanded. Feedback was good overall 😃

Was great to present learnings/considerations about reunification past and present with Maisie Sloos today for our children services monthly proffesional development forum. More presentations planned too to help promote with reframing reunification at the forefront of planning.

Last week I was privileged to join Newroz (Kurdish new year) celebrations with some of Through Care #UASC. Boy shoutout to Alexandra Capitani for organising an amazing evening.

Whilst a thankyou should never be required from our families we support, I received this card today and continue to acknowledge that I am privileged and honoured to be able to make such an impact on people's lives through this role. #Reunifcation
