The Donnington Bridge Yellow-browed Warbler: a great bird for a B-road! It’s stayed around for the start of term here and it showed better than these photos suggest, sometimes associating with Goldcrests on low branches.

Nice to see the short-staying Avocet, the long-staying Siberian Chiffchaff (with with five or six Common Chiffchaffs), and my first Oystercatcher of the year in Oxford at a quite spring-like Port Meadow earlier this week.
