As the General election is drawing near and parties looking for votes, you would think that The SNP would go all out to get college staff votes. Fund us now and fund our pay rise. EISFela we are ready to strike again. Can we get our rise and avoid the disruption now?

College Lecturers (and often just *Colleges* in general) have been hung out to dry by The SNP for 10 years. Any progress made has been as a direct result of EISFela. Intervention now won’t change history but it might still change some people’s minds before voting. John Swinney

BBC Radio 5 Live Graeme Dey keeps claiming the Scottish Government have no more money to help end college lecturer pay dispute (27 days strike action), yet they’ve just released figures to say they will carry forward £292M. Do they just not care about Further Education or its staff/students?

Shame on The SNP and @GraemeDeyMSP no-one in Scottish education should vote for this party of educational thieves and robbers of education in Scotland. Do the right thing, fund Scottish schools and colleges now.

Why can the Scottish Government “find” money to increase offer to COSLA to try to avert bin strikes, which by the way I am all in favour of, but cannot find money to fund an improved offer for college lecturers?
