If you think of #ChatGPT in terms of research, I agree. #gpt3 has pretty much the same architecture as #gpt2. However, it's the first LLM productized at scale, and this is very considerable! It's the combination of research and engineering that makes the difference!

Everybody will expect something better than #ChatGPT, because it's Google. I think that Google should NOT play the game "Who generates the best content" but "Who generates the most factual content". After all... it's a search engine. Let the games begin...

Very on point. LLMs can be the underlying infrastructure of many products that solve real business problems. They can be thought as the modern-day Operating Systems.
