This week, the 10th annual GirlsIntoGeoscience event took place on campus. Two exciting days of field trips and workshops introduced female A level students to the Earth sciences and demonstrated the world of careers open to Earth science graduates.

Last week saw the GiG team don their gladrags for the the University of Plymouth VC Awards. And we won! Nominated for the Equality Diversity and Inclusivity Award, against some amazing other initiatives, we were delighted to have been awarded this accolade.
