I rescue stranded dolphins yearly on the Mullet Peninsula, Co. Mayo. We're crowdfunding to study their health using blow samples—but we only get donations if we hit 100%! Can you help? 🐬💙 👉 experiment.com/projects/what-… #IWDG #LiveStranding #dolphin #crowdfunding #marineconservation

In 30 years, Ireland's pristine rivers dropped from 500 to just over 20 and, in 50 years, we've lost 90% of our salmon 😢🐟 Baseline Shift means we're less aware of this loss📉 Let's not accept a diminished world🛑 We must #RestoreOurWaters 💙📢 🙏sashafrost.com

Watch out for orange-tip butterflies, looking for their caterpillars food plant the cuckoo flower (in pics below 👇). They time their emergence perfectly with these flowers. Yet another reason to leave a patch to grow for #pollinators

I will forever be haunted by this footage. Trawling has only been filmed underwater a few times in documentary history, and never with such clarity. What’s so heart-rending about these shots is watching how the animals don’t just get swept up — they swim for their lives.

Sprat. They are disappearing and we must take action now. They are a critical part of our marine ecosystem, supporting seabirds, dolphins, salmon, cod, and even the fish we eat! Pair trawling in our bays by larger boats is having an impact. The ban needs to be re-introduced.

Lovely to see Northern colletes today on Mullet peninsula on our first day monitoring for LIFE on Machair / SAOL ar an Mhachaire. A ground-nesting solitary bee, restricted to coastal habitats such as dunes and machair. Ireland holds up to 90% of the remaining populations of the bee in the Atlantic zone

Some awesome images from one of our trail cameras. Corncrakes are notoriously shy birds so we are pretty sure this one was show-boating.😁 Early indications suggest an excellent year for the Irish population- great news in our last season as a project 🙏 National Parks and Wildlife Service

This picture depicts a devastating scene that conservationists are seeing up and down the country this breeding season. Lots of hard work is going into protecting these birds; working with farmers, landowners, and collaboration with other conservation groups. We are now

In Blacksod Bay, Co. Mayo, a live stranding hotspot, common dolphins live strand year after year. Local volunteers give everything — but they need the right tools. Help fund Ireland’s first Dolphin Rescue Trailer. 💙🐬 👉 Please support gofundme.com/f/help-fund-ir…
