How do you flood an entire city in Unity? Here's how I'm doing it. Follow development of Rescue Ball at twitch.tv/bitgamey/ #madewithunity #indiedev #gamedev #rescueball

I've finally warmed up to Zelda II. Once you get over the fact that it's a sidescroller and figure out how the experience point system works, the game is a lot of fun. #gaming #nes

Part of the fun of playing adventure games is solving the puzzles and figuring out where to go next. What makes designing one so annoying is that as the designer, you already know all the solutions. Does anyone else have this problem? #gamedev

Finally, the next part of my tilemaps series with Love2D and Lua! This time we deal with loading game objects into our levels, and setting up a robust collision detection system. #gameprogramming #lua #tutorial youtu.be/grmAUOLeBkQ?si…

I don't think robots will take over every programming job. It will take a while for them to learn to type without looking at the keyboard.

My tutorial on changing tilemap levels is finally here! It's a really long one because getting around the Love2D physics system (Box2D) is not so easy. There's a lot to take in, but it's good stuff, I swear. #love2d #lua #gamedev #tutorial youtube.com/watch?v=YSGjZB…

Someone said to me that I shouldn't make too many tutorials and 'give away all my secrets', and he said it in a way like he had some great insight into life. Ha! Even if I made 1000 videos about game dev, there would still be lots to teach. Also, none of it is really a secret.

Love the new skeleton stuff in #raylib 6. It's nice to have direct access to the animated bone transforms and to be able to import multiple skinned models without the thing crashing anymore.

I got a new tutorial on coding game UI stuff from scratch. Start by coding a UI panel! More will come! #lua #lua #ui #panel #gameprogramming #tutorial youtu.be/xaBsViNnsd4?si…
