The Nobel Peace Prize 2025 has been awarded to Venezuelan democracy activist María Corina Machado. The committee recognised her “struggle to achieve a just and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy.” Exactly the opposite of what Trump is doing to the United States.

Israel was deliberately starving the people of Gaza. Western media outlets lapped up Israel's lies about that fact. And Israel de facto admits those lies, those same Western media outlets will just move on to lapping up the next lies.

Israeli soldiers deliberately shoot Palestinian children in different parts of the body on different days. On one day, the neck. Another day, the chest. Another day, the abdomen. Another day, their testicles.

US has provided over $21.7billion in arms to Israel since 7th October. This made possible the genocide in Gaza and makes a mockery of the 'eye for an eye' mantra which is a Biblical principle of reciprocal justice. To talk about Trump as a peace-maker is a sick joke.

Lie machine Donald Trump still attempted to organise a US coup. Editorial standards matter as Nick Robinson said but there is also a concerted campaign to destroy the BBC by some politicians and media rivals.

Not much mention in the Right's attack on the BBC that the House Select Committee investigating the January 6th Attack concluded Trump's efforts to pressure official and his speech were central to the riot. They described his actions as “the driving factor” behind the attack.
