Vegetation removal is ongoing along the I-16 corridor in Treutlen County. The need for vegetation removal was demonstrated during Hurricane Helene last year. This work increases the likelihood of the I-16 corridor remaining open and passable during future states of emergency.

Georgia DOT maintenance forces have reopened SR 15 in Greene County, about one mile southeast of Siloam. The new pipe has been installed, however, drivers should expect daytime lane closures at this location next week as crews finish building structures.
