Between City of Yes and the (possible) charter amendments, I assume NYC will soon have quite a lot more zoned capacity. The risk to housing production will increasingly be the cost of building and I don't have confidence Zohran can say "no" to any progressive-coded cost drivers.

The best architects, designers, and developers don’t just design buildings, they train plan checkers. Most plan checkers don’t know state law (think GC § 65913.3). Our job is to brainwash it into their heads until they do.
