It’s awesome to see Gainesville Middle: East students be able to independently reverse engineer and recreate a cell phone stand for themselves. They are able to use their Onshape, a PTC Technology CAD skills & knowledge of math coordinates, angles, & measurement skills to recreate a product. Makerspaces.com
It’s amazing to see 6th grade students who were able to recreate a cellphone stand from scratch with digital calipers & Onshape, a PTC Technology in 1 hour! These students have definitely mastered dimensioning, x & y coordinates, and basic Onshape, a PTC Technology CAD skills.
It’s great to hear students say, “this project is so easy!” Students are quickly & easily using digital calipers, @onshape, & X & Y coordinates to recreate a real Amazon 3D puzzle house! Gainesville Middle: East students will be able to create anything they want in the future Makerspaces.com
iMovie never seems to stop amazing me Apple Education. The new teacher had several issues with their iPhone video being flipped upside down & iMovie was super easy at correcting the issue. Now the new teacher will be able to use their classroom video footage for their edTPA!
I truly work in the greatest school system. How amazing is it that students have the opportunity to learn how to be creative, use technology to produce their own products, learn how to apply their academic knowledge in real world applications, & have fun! 6th grade STEAM students were able to remake a wooden snowflake puzzle in Onshape, a PTC Technology in 2 days! They can almost recreate anything I challenge them with in a few days. Gainesville Middle: East Makerspaces.com
My 4 year old found this awesome 3D dinosaur puzzle at a consignment sale. I can’t wait to challenge our Gainesville Middle: East STEAM students with recreating this puzzle with Onshape, a PTC Technology & use our system 3D printers & laser cutters to make fossil kits for students! Makerspaces.com
So happy I was able to take apart the computer, upgrade the RAM & hard drive, & and deploy a new image for the front office employee at Gainesville Middle: East. They now have a computer that runs quick and effectively.
A student in class today learned how to use machine oil to fix the stuck gears in their Xbox disc drive & bring back life to the drive. I am really proud of the student’s determination & problem solving skills. Gainesville Middle: East
