Hey TomcatJunkie🏴‍☠️...running through scans of my old slides. Check out this four-ship from Pt. Mugu Air Show, 1992. Nikon F3, pretty sure it's on Ektachrome 100.

1984 Hollywood Burbank ✈️ Pacific Southwest Airlines DC-9. Mom was headed somewhere, so Dad and I stood at the end of runway 15 on Empire Avenue with our cameras. This was with my old Canon F1, if I recall correctly.

This one turned out alright. Stephen Covington in "Fury 2.0," his GB1 Gamebird. February 13, 2026 at the Buckeye Air Fair in Buckeye, AZ. Nikon Z7II with the NIKKOR Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR S at f/9 and 1/125th.

Right in the middle of a rainy moment, a tiny bird becomes the star of something truly magical—a perfect water droplet lands on its head, forming a crown-like splash that feels almost unreal. The timing is flawless, capturing a split second where nature turns playful.

Aquarium photography is very difficult to get right, especially with a macro lens. Here's a few from yesterday that aren't perfect, but they're interesting. With the Nikon Z8 and Nikkor Z MC 105mm f/2.8 VR S.
