Visiting in Kansas City for a few days. There are more places of interest than I had expected. A couple museums we have been to are the Jazz Museum and the Toys and Miniatures museum. Gary Stager - New Invent To Learn Book! there were two items at the toy museum that you’ve recently mentioned in podcasts.

They also say “ChatGPT seems unable to understand the consequences or side effects of some code operations and expressions”. As if they expect it to have some level of ability to understand. We’re not quite there … yet.

Thanks Gary Stager - New Invent To Learn Book! for the recommendation. Mr. Beef was worth the wait. Lined up outside the door but absolutely delicious eating in the “elegant dining room”!

I enjoyed this podcast - it seemed very focused on what to do next for children in a world where most adults are afraid of computers and programming. I've summarized my thoughts below: Tom D'Amico Yolanta Krawiecki (She/Her) Michael Partridge Katie DeBodt

We started VW eLabs in 2017. Since then, the network has grown to 51 labs across our region w/ at least 50 more across the US. Every one we have opened has started by giving a copy of Invent to Learn from Gary Stager - New Invent To Learn Book! & Sylvia LibowMartinez. It’s a GREAT foundation! amzn.to/4cPqfm9

Manuj and Shruti have done a remarkable job expanding the reach and scope of Scratch Team while maintaining its playful beauty. Tom Lauwers kids can control physical devices across the world with this (only Scratch ones). Just need them to add the Finch.

I’ve got my copy now. So far it is everything I expected it to be - and in a writing style that is straightforward and concise. Tom D'Amico this is a book you should read. It opens up all sorts of possibilities for your students.

I’ve also watched this video. A perfect complement to the book. Tom D'Amico you should watch it too - all of it! I would love to participate in a local book club with meetups to share experiences trying out these progressive ideas. Any chance your board would consider this?

Thanks! With only a few minutes to try it it works perfectly. I can’t wait to get right into it and add some physical devices to control and converse with. It also spelled my name correctly - that must be related to synchronization with other data on my computer???

Thanks Jens Mönig for posting this. Your presentations always help me think more about the topic and get new ideas. I especially liked the extended Q and A - lots of insight into the human aspects of AI.
