When you don't bother to practice what you preach ,all I can hear is hypocrisy. #BankersDemand5DayWeek is agreed on paper long back .What is agreed on paper must be implemented in practice.

Profits rise. Work hours rise. Stress rises. But when bankers ask for dignity, we’re told to protest on the streets. This is inequality. 5 Days Work Week is a right, not a luxury.. Immediate implementation of 5 days work a week is needed #5DaysWeekForBankers

A strike is not confrontation or unpaid Holiday - it is a legitimate, democratic, and last resort to secure long pending and legitimate demand of #5DaysBanking #BankersOnStrike

Bank strike for work life balance on 27 January seems successful. United Forum of Bank Unions called it — demand 5-day week for banks. Last such strike brought industry to halt on Dec 15-16, 2021 on different issues of wage settlement, 5 day banking & outsourcing of bank work.

Tamal Bandyopadhyay Thanks, Sir, for acknowledging the long-pending requirement of 5-day banking. The successful 27 January strike under UFBU once again reflects bankers’ united voice for work-life balance. From Dec 15–16, 2021 to today, the demand remains just and unavoidable. #5DaysWeekForBankers

Today’s nationwide one-day strike under the banner of UFBU has been a resounding success, sending a loud, clear, and unmistakable message in support of our legitimate and long-pending demand for 5 Days Banking. *On behalf of AIBOC Maharashtra State - 1 and Bank Of India Officers' Association (Mumbai & Goa), we place on record our

Nilesh Pawar Viksit Bharat is being drafted in committees while banks run without staff. One branch, half the manpower, full expectations. Work-life balance is preached, but #5DaysBanking is treated like a threat to the Economy. Government wants world-class banks with understaffed branches

Nilesh Pawar Any serious discussion on Viksit Bharat and banking reforms cannot ignore ground realities. Banks today are running with acute staff shortages, ever-increasing workloads, and mounting compliance pressures, while long-pending demands like #5DaysBanking continue to be ignored.
