The correct motive for preaching the gospel is love but that love is not always reciprocated. Love and preach anyway.

The redeemed are God's house, therefore be holy. Holiness and ungodliness cannot dwell together.

Fulfilling the great commission required various people with different skills doing various works. However, leaders must be servants to all.

A Christian shows maturity when wounded by God's word they turn their pain into repentance, correct their behavior and appreciate the preacher.

Everyone experiences pain and suffering, but the advantage of a believer in Christ is that their pain can be turned into eternal rewards.

There isn't an employee or Christian anywhere who doesn't appreciate a leader who rolls up his sleeves, gets in the trenches with his people and shares in their struggles. Jesus did.

One of my take aways from Pastor Batchelor's message yesterday on "Reasonable Sacrifice": There is no salvation for us without the sacrifice of Jesus' body. Therefore, it is reasonable for God to require the sacrifice of our bodies (along with our spirit and soul) in our worship.
